Diversity Visa Lottery Eligible Countries
Only residents of certain countries are allowed to enter into the Diversity Visa Lottery 2018 Program (usually referred as Green Card Lottery) . Check below to see if you’re eligible!
Eligibility
In order to meet the geographic eligibility requirement for the Green Card Lottery, you need to be from a country deemed eligible for the program.
The U.S. Department of State defines this a few different ways. If you meet one of the following requirements, you may be eligible to register for the Green Card Lottery:
- You are from an eligible country
- One of your parents are from an eligible country
- Your spouse is from an eligible country.
Ineligible Countries:
For brevity, it’s easier to list the countries that are not allowed to participate in the Green Card Lottery. If your country isn’t listed here, you can go ahead and register!
